Chinas May Crude Oil Imports Exceed 17Mn Tons
Chinas crude oil imports for May amounted to 17.09mn tons, or a daily average for the month of 4.02mn b/d. May 2009 crude imports were up by 5.5% from May 2008. They are also Chinas highest volume of monthly imports since March 2008, when imports totaled 17.3mn tons (4.23mn b/d).
