Israel to Purchase Over 2mn Tons of Egyptian Crude in 1986
According to the Israeli Ministry of Energy, Israel will purchase more than 2mn tons oi crude oil from Egypt in 1986 at a cost of more than $500mn, following the visit to Israel at the end of November of Egyptian Oil Minister Abd El-Hady Kandil. Israel has been buying 2mn tons/year of Egyptian crude oil since its withdrawal from occupied Sinai in December 1975.
