BADEA Lends Niger $4mn
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to extend a loan worth $4mn to Niger to help finance a livestock development project, according to an agreement signed on 2 December. The loan is repayable within 16 years, including a four-year grace period, and carries an annual interest rate of 5%.
