IRAQ PLANS TO RAISE OIL PRODUCTION TO 2HN B/D in 1986 

Iraq is currently producing 1.7-1.8mn b/d - an increase of some 400,000-500,000 b/d over the level prior to the opening of the Iraqi-Saudi export pipeline link in late September - and plans to raise output still further to an average of 2mn b/d in 1986, according to Iraq's Oil Minister, Mr. Qasim Ahmad Taqi.
