IEA Sees Slight Growth in 4Q Demand
The latest figures from the International Energy Agency (IEA), published in the December issue of its Oil Market Report (OMR), indicate that oil consumption in the OECD countries, after declining by 2%, 3.5%, and 1.5% from 1984 levels in the first three quarters of 1985, is likely to grow by 0.2% in the last quarter to reach 34.6mn b/d.
