OPEC Says Output Was 16.3mn b/d in 1984
OPEC crude oil production fell for the fifth successive year in 1984, averaging 16,330,500 b/d as against 16,992,300 b/d in 1983, according to the 1984 OPEC Annual Statistical Bulletin. Within this overall decline, however, a number of OPEC countries increased their output in 1984, the leaders being Nigeria (up 152,500 b/d to 1,388,000 b/d), Iraq (up 122,500 b/d to 1,221,300 b/d), and Qatar (up 83,300 b/d to 352,300 b/d)....
