KIO Builds up Holdings in Scottish Banks
The London-based Kuwait Investment Office (KIO) has built up its holdings in two Scottish banks in recent weeks. 875,000 shares in the Bank of Scotland were bought, bringing its total holding to 8,602,500 shares, and a further 18.5mn shares in the Royal Bank of Scotland, bring its stake up to 41.7mn shares, the equivalent of 14.7% of the bank's equity.
