Shell Finalizes 1986 Netback Deal with Iran
Iran's NIOC and Shell International have finalized the terms of their 1986 deal for crude oil supplies in excess of 100,000 b/d. The price terms are essentially on the basis of f.o.b. netbacks from product realizations in Northwest Europe (as in the previous Iranian netback deals concluded last June - MEES, l0 June 1985), but this time Shell is understood to have accepted an Iranian proposal for a floor price based on spot crude...
