Gas Output Expected to Rise to 9.8Bn Cu. Ms. in 1990

Quoting a number of officials of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) on the gas scene in Egypt, the Cairo daily al-Ahram of 24 December 1985 states that the country's production of gas amounted to 6.5bn cu. ms. in 1985 and is expected to rise to 9.8bn cu. ms. in 1990.
