Subroto Says Non-OPEC Should Curb Production Growth
Unless the non-OPEC producers agree to limit the increase in their production in 1986 they could be on a collision course with OPEC over market shares, according to the Indonesian Mines and Energy Minister, Dr. Subroto.
Speaking in Jakarta on 9 January, Dr. Subroto said that demand for oil in 1986 is likely to remain at the 1985 level of 46.3mn b/d and that non-OPEC capacity is expected to rise by 800,000 b/d two 30.9mn b/d....
