EEC Reimposes Tariff on Saudi Polyethylene
The European Economic Community (EEC) has imposed a 12.5% tariff on imports of Saudi linear low-density polyethylene effective 6 January, because Saudi Arabia has already exceeded its annual duty free ceiling of ECU6.6mn ($5.85mn) for 1986.
