IFAD Lends Somalia $6.3mn
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed to lend Somalia $6.3mn to help finance a livestock health project, according to an agreement signed on 7 January. The $11.6mn project is being co-financed with a $4.3mn loan from the International Development Association and a $1mn allocation from the Somali Government.
