IEA Sees No Growth in OECD
Oil Demand in 1986 Although fourth quarter oil demand in the OECD countries rose by 0.5% over the level in 4Q 1984, the International Energy Agency (IEA) does not expect any growth in OECD oil demand in 1986, according to the January issue of its Oil Market Report (OMR). The latest IEA figures put 4Q 1985 OECD consumption at 34.8mn b/d rather than the 34.6mn b/d estimate in the December OMR - although the year average remains unchanged...
