Agreement Reached on New Debt Repayment Accord with West Germany
West Germany and Iraq have reached a new debt repayment agreement after an attempt by Bonn to purchase increased oil supplies to offset the debt balance failed, according to the West Germany Economics Ministry spokesman on 8 January.
