'ALI KHALIFAH CALLS FOR CUT OF OVER 300,000 B/D IN UK NORTH SEA OUTPUT
Kuwait's Oil Minister, Shaikh 'Ali Khalifah al-Sabah, has called upon Britain to cut its North Sea oil output by more than 300,000 b/d as part of a global effort between OPEC and non-OPEC oil exporters to re-stabilize the world market. Shaikh 'Ali Khalifah made this call in a British TV interview broadcast in the Business Program on Channel Four on 9 February.
