USAID Extends $25mn Soft Loan to Sudan
The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has agreed to extend a $25mn soft loan to Sudan to finance wheat imports from the US. The loan is repayable in 31 years, including a ten-year grace period, and carries a 6% interest rate.
