SAUDI PRODUCTION FELL BELOW 3.8MN B/D IN JANUARY
Contrary to persistent media reports claiming that Saudi Arabia has boosted its oil output to 5 or 6mn b/d, MEES understands that actual Saudi production is running at very much less than that, with January output having averaged lower than 3.8mn b/d. This is well within the Kingdom's OPEC quota of 4.35mn b/d which the Saudi Government still respects.
