Soviet Oil Exports Fell by 500,000 b/d in 1985
Soviet oil exports fell by something like 500,000 b/d in 1985 and are unlikely to do anything more than barely maintain current levels over the next five years. This, at least, is the impression gained by a Kuwaiti delegation, headed by the Oil Minister, Shaikh 'Ali Khalifah al-Sabah, which paid an official visit to the USSR from 5 to 11 February.
