Ecuador Suspends Oil Exports for One Week
The Ecuadorian Government has suspended its exports of crude oil for one week as from 13 February and announced it will adopt a flexible policy to safeguard its oil market until prices stabilize. Energy and Mines Minister Javier Espinosa said that the policy would include measures such as the application of regional prices according to the oil's destination under the netback system, and flotation of prices .
