Tomen Signs up for 20,000 b/d of Sirri Crude
Japan's Tomen has signed a one-year contract with Iran's NIOC for the supply of 20,000 b/d of 31° API crude from the offshore Sirri field in 1986. The contract is a renewal of a contract for a similar volume last year. The price is understood to be based on Dubai spot valuation minus 35-50 cents. Tomen is the middleman for an oil-for-meat barter deal between Iran and New Zealand.
