US Allocates $67mn for North Yemen
The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has agreed to lend North Yemen $67mn to help fund the second phase of the agricultural development support program. The loan comprises $29mn to set up an agricultural faculty at San'a University, $21mn to support programs undertaken by the Ministry of Agriculture, $11mn to develop two secondary level agricultural schools, and $6mn to expand poultry farms.
