JNB Buys Out Chase Manhattan's Jordan Branch
Following the decision of Chase Manhattan Bank to pull out of Jordan (MEES, 20 January), Jordan National Bank (JNB) has acquired its assets with a net book value of JD20mn ($57mn). Chase's end-1984 assets at its single Amman branch were worth JD28mn ($76mn)
