Saudi Arabia Pays $119.7mn to Jordan
In accordance with the 1978 Baghdad Summit resolutions, Saudi Arabia has paid $119.7mn to Jordan as the first installment of payments due from the steadfastness fund for 1986. So far only Saudi Arabia has paid its full contribution to Jordan, Syria and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), while Kuwait, the only other remaining donor, has reduced its contribution by 39%.
