Mubarak Estimates Drop in Egypt's Oil Revenues in FY 1986-87 at $1.2bn
In a speech on 8 March to a joint meeting of the Egyptian People's Assembly (parliament) and Advisory Council, Egyptian President Husni Mubarak has called for urgent action to deal with the country's economic problems, following the riots last month by conscript security police that caused several hundred million dollars worth of damage and harmed the tourism industry.
