Iraq Begins Crude Oil Exports from New Oil Berth at 'Aqaba

Iraq has begun to export crude oil from the new oil berth constructed at the Red Sea port of 'Aqaba, according to a statement on 18 April by a port official. The new berth, built at a cost of JD4.2mn ($12.4mn), can handle some 10,000 tons/day of crude oil and fuel oil (MEES, 12 August 1985).
