Gasoline Rationing Has Saved Iran Over $8.5Bn
Irans smart card gasoline rationing scheme, introduced in June 2007, has succeeded in reducing the countrys consumption by one-third to around 64mn litres/day (400,000 b/d), according to Deputy Minister of Petroleum Noureddin Shahnazizadeh.
