2008: A Turning Point For The Iraqi Economy
There was little improvement in the Iraqi economy in 2008 compared to the previous year, according to research provided to MEES and undertaken by Kamal al-Basri, an Iraqi economist working in Baghdad. The study focused on the number of development projects carried out by the public sector, the rate of inflation, and rates of poverty and unemployment.
