US Offers North Yemen More Food Aid
US Vice President George Bush offered North Yemen an additional $5mn in food aid during his visit to the country last month. The aid commitment doubles the US Public Law 480 aid for FY 1986 to $10mn and brings total aid to $42.1mn for the current year, compared to $47.5mn in 1985.
