Mexican Exports Rebound
According to the President of the Mexican state oil company Pemex, Mr. Mario Ramon Beteta, Mexico has contracts for the sale of 1.35mn b/d in May. Although still some way under Pemex's export target/ceiling of 1.5mn b/d, the May figure represents a considerable improvement over previous months, when exports were reported to have averaged 1.06mn b/d in March, rising to 1.2mn b/d in mid-April (MEES, 28 April).
