BADEA Lends Tanzania $5bn
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to lend Tanzania $5mn to finance foreign exchange purchases for agricultural and industrial purposes, according to an agreement signed in late May. The loan is repayable in 15 years, including a three-year grace period, and carries an annual interest rate of 8%.
