The Middle East Situation
Indications are continuing to mount that a reconciliation between Syria and Iraq may be on the cards. A preliminary meeting, probably between ministers from the two countries, appears increasingly likely to take place in mid-June, to be followed, if successful, by a reconciliation mini-summit.
