Suez Gulf Dominates Egyptian Oil Scene
The Gulf of Suez area has continued to dominate the Egyptian oil scene during the past decade with its oil output rising more than threefold from 231,421 b/d or 70.6% of total production of 327,596 b/d in 1976 to 773,014 b/d or 88.1% of total production of 877,753 b/d in 1985.
