PDO Makes New Discovery in South Oman 

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has made a new discovery in its concession in South Oman at a location known as Zahra, according to a statement by the Director General of Petroleum and Gas of the Omani Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, Mr. Khalifah ibn Mubarak al-Hinai. Mr. Hinai described the discovery as "good" and added that further testing was at present being carried out to assess the commercial prospects of the find.
