Sharjah to Start LPG Exports to Japan
The first cargo of LPG exports from the newly-commissioned Sharjah LPG plant (MEES, 19 May) is scheduled to leave from the Hamriyyah terminal to Japan by early July. The $300mn plant, which has a capacity of 440mn cubic ft./day of gas, was designed to produce 230,000 tons of propane, 170,000 tons of butane and 220,000 tons of condensate annually.
According to Japanese sources, the price of Sharjah LPG will be aligned with that of Saudi LPG...
