Reduced Hydrocarbons Earnings Raise Investment Concerns
Algerias hydrocarbons revenues fell to $13.1bn in the first four months of 2009, according to official media, putting pressure on investment plans in the oil sector and making a big dent in the countrys earnings. Recent data from the National Computing and Statistic Centre (CNIS) showed that Algeria earned $10.45bn from hydrocarbons receipts in the first quarter of this year...
