OECD Forecasts Record $49bn OPEC Deficit in 1986

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the May issue of its Economic Outlook has forecast that the aggregate current account deficit of the OPEC countries will increase from $13bn to $49bn in 1986 as a result of a 29% decline in export prices and a 13% decline in export volumes.
