Saudi Arabia Discovers Large Phosphate Deposits
In an interview with the Saudi newspaper al-Jazirah on 19 July, the Governor of Saudi Arabia's Petromin, Dr. Abdulhady Taher, announced the discovery of the world's largest phosphate deposits in the Jalamid area near the city of Turaif in northern Saudi Arabia.
