USSR Will Cut Oil Exports by 100,000 b/d, Says Iranian Oil Minister 

The Soviet Union has told Iran that it is ready to cut oil exports to Western Europe by 100,000 b/d in September and October to help OPEC's efforts to stabilize the oil market and maintain prices. This was stated by the Iranian Oil Minister, Mr. Gholamreza Aghazadeh, on his return to Tehran on 21 August from a four-day visit to Moscow.
