Egypt Raises Oil Prices for Second Time in August
Egypt has raised the export prices of the various types of its crude oil by $1.20-1.25 a barrel for the period 21-31 August. This is the second increase this month. The first increase, covering the period 1-20 August, ranged from $2.75 to $3.40 a barrel. The August price hikes - which have kept Egyptian prices more or less in line with climbing spot levels - have reversed the downward trend of 10 consecutive price...
