Kellogg/Technip to Convert Homs Ammonia Plant to Gas
The General Fertilizer Company (GFC) of Syria has awarded a $5mn contract to M.W. Kellogg Ltd. of London to convert GFC's 1,000 ton/day ammonia plant at Homs to run on gas instead of naphtha. The conversion work is to be carried out jointly by Kellogg and CLE, a subsidiary of Technip of France.
