Big Fall in Offshore Neutral Zone Output in First Half 1986
According to the Japanese-owned Arabian Oil Company, crude oil production in the offshore Neutral Zone (shared 50-50 by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait) fell to 160,000 b/d in the first half of 1986 as compared with 257,000 b/d in the equivalent period of 1986. However, the company expects output to recover to 300,000 b/d during the second half of 1986.
