Revenues Decline in Indonesia and Mexico
Mexico and Indonesia have joined Venezuela (MEES, 15 September) in reporting a drastic decline in their oil revenues.
In Mexico, Bank of Mexico figures for the first half of the year put oil revenues at $3.1bn, down 57% from $7.2bn in the same period of 1985.
In Indonesia - where Finance Minister Radius Prawiro announced a 45t devaluation of the rupiah on 12 September - oil and gas earnings are now projected by the government to decline...
