Kandil Says Egypt Will Continue to Restrict Oil Output to about 850,000 B/D
Egypt is currently producing at a rate of about 850,000 b/d of oil although the maximum it set for itself is 870,000 b/d. This was stated by Egyptian Oil Minister Abd El-Hady Kandil in an interview with the Cairo daily al-Akhbar of 5 September.
