Mexico Reaches Agreement with Banks
After nearly a year of hard-fought negotiations, Mexico announced on 30 September that it has reached agreement in principle with representatives of its creditor banks on a loan package which will meet its immediate foreign debt requirements and clear the way for a longer-term resolution of its debt problems.
