Oman Plans Large Scale Power/Desalination Plant Costing $408mn
The Omani Government is planning to construct at a location lying at some 30 kms. from Muscat a large-scale power station and desalination plant with a capacity of 500,000 kilowatts and 114,000 tons of potable water per day. The cost of the project is estimated at $408mn. According to reports from Oman, the Japanese Government has decided to cooperate with the Omani authorities in the implementation of this project...
