Chevron and Snam Progetti Plan to Resume Operations in South Sudan
According to a report by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) from Khartoum on 10 November, Chevron Oil Company of the Sudan will resume its oil exploration activities in South Sudan from 1 January after a nine-month near standstill in its activities caused by a rebel attack last February in one of its base camps near Benitu, during which three of its staff were killed (MEES, 13 February).
