Romania and Hungary Extend Aid to Egypt's Electricity Program
Romania and Hungary signed separate agreements with Egypt earlier this month covering soft loans for the country's electric power network. Romania is to provide $100mn for the country's rural electrification program, while Hungary will provide $9mn for the upgrading of the al-Tihin power station south of Helwan.
