New Turkish Energy Minister Optimistic Over Azeri Gas Issue
Taner Yildiz was appointed as Minister of Energy for Turkey on 4 May, taking over from Hilmi Guler who occupied the position for six and a half years. A former electrical engineer, Mr Yildiz has served as an energy adviser to Prime Minister Tayip Erdogan.
