Oil Deals with East Germany and New Zealand
Iran is in the process of concluding agreements with New Zealand and East Germany covering the sale of up to 45,000 b/d of crude oil in 1985.
East Germany will import 20,000 b/d of Iranian crude next year under an agreement signed in Tehran on 4 December. According to reports the two sides are discussing a possible increase in this figure to 30,000 b/d.
