Elf Relinquishes Onshore Concessions in Libya
Elf-Aquitaine of France has relinquished four onshore production-sharing concessions in Libya. The 14,855-sq. km. plots, which were granted in December 1980, include the Hamada concession (6,560 sq. kms.) near the Tunisian border and the Es Sider (3,725 sq. kms.), Marada (3,725 sq. kms.) and Sarir West (1,430 sq. kms.) blocks in the Sirte Basin (MEES, 11 February 1980 and 12 January 1981).
